I just got my breast done by Dr. DeMars. I am 5'5" weigh 117 lbs. I thought about the surgery for a year before I decided to take the plunge. I was a small 34B and am now approximately a 36C. 350cc Mentor Round Silicone.
Unlike most women I suffered no pain. The day after I wanted get up and ride my horses. I took the pain medicine in half doses for two days. I have no tightness or muscle spasms yet. Today is the third day after the surgery and I feel completely normal.
With my tiny frame I did not want to go very big so I went to my consultation and told Dr. DeMars this fact and added that I wanted to look like Pamela Anderson. After telling him that I did not want to go that big his whole face dropped. I then added before she had her surgery.
The worst part of the process besides the fact I had never been operated on and I was scared, was boyfriend for 4 years reaction. He told me that every woman that gets a breast job ends up leaving her man. I was very worried the morning of the surgery and he tells me he is the one who should be worrying, and asked what the date was that I going to leave him. Luckily my friend who had the procedure in 2002 would be the one to take me and bring me home.
I haven't told my family either because when I mentioned it a few months ago they jumped down my throat like it was a crime. This is a personal thing and if a person loves you they should be supportive. I know my family will forgive me and still love me but I choose not to tell them because I did not want any stress before the surgery.
My boyfriend was nicer to me when I got home but did not have to wait on me hand and foot because I felt fine and was able to get around. Yes he had to make a pot of coffee. I didn't want to lift anything and I think he made me one meal.
He hasn't said anything derogatory about my new breasts. He says he likes them but liked my "Old Boobs" as I call them now.
As for the results I don't feel really different about me. I'm still me I have bigger boobs is all.
I had my surgery with Dr. DeMars. Dr. DeMars is hands down the best in Portland.

He is the BEST! Very skilled at what he does and very compassionate and caring for his patients as well, I had melanoma around the same time and I cannot tell you how thankful I was to have had him for the surgery for that as well, even my dermatologist gives him praise for his wonderful surgical skills!
Everytime I go in for my 6 month check ups with my dermatologist he says I have the smallest scars for the amount of tissue he removed! I have been thinking about getting a redo to go a smidge larger and the first person I will call when I have decided is Dr Demars, I wouldnt want to go to anyone else!

Dr Demars is my PS and he is the best....does wonderful work and is a kind and caring person to boot! I just cant say enough about how wonderful he is!! Bodacious Boobs
